AVAILABLE WESTIES
The number and sex and age of Westies available for
adoption through our program changes very quickly. The
first thing you need to do to adopt one of our Westies
is to complete and submit your
ADOPTION APPLICATION to us. We do
not list adoptable dogs on our web site to prevent
unthoughtful adoptions based on a cute photo. All of
our placements are made through our application process
which involves references checks and home visits to
ensure the safety of a dog placed in your home.
When we receive a Westie through an individual who
cannot care for the dog or from one of the many shelters
where we are registered we match the Westie with the
best possible new forever home. Some of our Westies
have special needs such as skin allergies or illness
requiring medications. All potential adopters can
specify the type of Westie they wish to adopt and
whether special needs Westies are welcome. No one is
ever at the top of our list of adopters since their
desires and the situations presented by the Westie can
be a combination of many possibilities.
