What:	Westies Play in Fenced Backyard Pet Grooming Workshop Grooming Stations Pot Luck Lunch

This event will be for all SFBWHWTC members and for subscribers who fill out a membership application that day.  All Westies owned by club members are welcome - other breeds may not attend this event.  Due to space limitations, this event is not open to non-members.

 

We will set up the Lure Course, have members demonstrate grooming techniques and share a Pot Luck Lunch.  A short general membership meeting will also be held at the Fun Day event.

For the Pot Luck Lunch, please bring a main dish if your last name is A-M, a side dish for names N-Z.  The club will provide drinks, desserts and paper supplies.

The Sklarin family home has a fenced backyard where the Westies can play together off-leash for a day of fun in a Westie-friendly, squirrel-frightened environment.  This is a great opportunity for the Westies to socialize in a more natural setting without the constraints of leashes.  Owners must clean up after their own dogs. 

Bring your dog clean, but not freshly bathed.  We would prefer that you not bathe your dog less than 5 days prior to the day of the Grooming Workshop.  The hair is more difficult to grasp if it is too clean.  This may be the ONLY time you ever hear someone tell you your dog is too clean!

 

The following is a list of the grooming tools and equipment you will need.  If you don't have equipment or all of the equipment listed, come any way.  We will have extra tools and equipment for your use.
