Bark McGuire,
male, born January 1999
|
|
McGuire came to us a very
loney puppy. The day we rescued him his little heart was very
happy and relieved. He slept all the way home. He has
blossomed into a major member of our small family. We love him
too much some times. He has the best demeanor of any dog I have
ever known! He is the smartest dog who has learned our language
of love!! I am sure if he could talk he would say "thank
you for saving me" but in truth we thank him for being in our
lives.

Ceilidh (Kaylee),
female, born March 7, 1991
|
| Ceilidh (Kaylee) is a
treasure. She loves to travel and will go anywhere just to ride in the
car. On rainy days she goes to Longs drugstore and rides in the cart
being admired by everyone. Having her has enriched my life and I
couldn't imagine being without her.

Princeton MacDuff,
male, born April 2, 1999
|
| Princeton is a very happy active Westie,
a quick learner. He has become a great buddy to my 7-year old
male Westie, Willy. He has been with me since November 13th and
each week new facets of his personality reveal themselves. He
rides well on long trips to Tahoe. He does Bark.

Misty,
female, born March 24, 1997
|
| Misty is a rescue dog. Her
rescuers were Pam Evans, Rescue Chairperson SFBWHWTC and her valued sister,
Dianne Pritchard. She is three years old and eleven pounds of
dynamite. She is good with my grandchildren, loves to play and is a good
watchdog. Misty prefers to be with me, but does enjoy her backyard which
is fenced from a wild creek area. A passing antlered deer gave her pause
once, but all other critters are warned with barking. Misty is a very
valued family member and friend.

Max,
male, born August 23, 1996 (?)
|
| Max has become a great companion
and friend to our family, especially our daughter and our rescued Cairn
Terrier (although we don't think the cat is real happy with either dog).
Thank you Pam and SFBWHWTC Rescue for giving us the opportunity to be adopted
by Max. He has won our hearts and us his.

Angus, male, born June 1, 1994
|
| Angus is the model of
the Westie huntsman. He is the great hunter of squeaks,
especially bike horns. He's always right (just ask him), but is
willing to let you discover it on your own. A bundle of while
love waiting to be petted. An integral part of our family.

|
| Bailie is a very playful Westie. He loves
his toys and playing ball on the lawn. He is always ready to greet new

Happy, male, born June 2, 1998
|
| Happy loves to take long walks, lie in the sunshine,
play with tennis balls and squeaky toys, have doggie play dates with three
female Bichons, give me a "high five" for treats, play "fight and
bite" with my Dad and be groomed daily my Mom. One of the best
things about Happy is when I lie down, he snuggles next to me close as he
can. We all feel lucky that Happy found us.

Burglar, male, born 1990
|
| Burglar is a "one-of-a
kind" Westie with his floppy ears, curved tail and tall, lean
frame. He looks unlike most of his breed. However, his sense of
humor, gentility, adventure and loveable affability definitely place him
firmly in league with all courageous Westies. And, like his name,
"Burglar", suggests -- he readily steals your heart.

Nelson, male, born March 1, 1995
|
| When we adopted Nelson 9 months
ago, we became his third family in four years. He had been abandoned by
a previous owner and abused by kids. He didn't like rollerbladers or
skateboarders or young children. With a little work and a lot of love,
Nelson now loves our grandchildren and tolerates skateboards and
rollerblades. He has become my constant companion and my
"buddy". His favorite words are "go" and
"walk". Recently we adopted a 7 month old Westie girl (Tessie)
who has taught him how to play. He is even willing to share us with
her. You can often find both of them sitting on the back of the couch,
looking our the front window, keeping watch over their domain!

Roggie, male, born November
13, 1996
|
| Roggie is a very wonderful,
friendly, sweet dog. He came to me as a mass of scabs and he has

he greets me with excitement and joy, and makes me so happy that he is my dog.
